I went on a Wednesday night for Happy Hour. The special $2 beer on tap was a Goose Island brew, but the keg ran out during the special. Somehow I managed to joke and whine enough with the server I got a free loaded baked potato. It was delicious. So even though this Aubrey's is in Oak Ridge, and it has a smaller patio than the others, and the kitchen can be slow, I'll always will be a fan. You can't beat free spuds.

Why the hell would anybody who has 45 minutes for lunch eat at Panera instead of walk the 40 steps to Aubrey's? High quality good food. Interesting plates. Add Abrey's to your list places to check out. Never mind, it's not like there are any options. After sitting down and checking out the menu there was no way I was leaving this place without checking out the Pimento Cheese and Sausage appetizer. What is is with Northern GA and Tennessee? I don't remember anywhere else in the country where you can find pimento cheese semi-consistently on the menu. Good for me. The sausage was very good and pimento cheese had some crazy rice looking ingredient holding it together. Normally, I would have turned my nose up at such an offense, but lucky for me, I was hungry. So I ate. Lucky me. This pimento cheese was excellent and the sausage together with the jalapenos was a perfect complement. I think next time I'm getting this dish as my entree along with a salad. For my meal I had the tomato basil pasta which left me only mildly impressed. The sauce was fresh and light which is exactly what it's supposed to be. It had lots of Parmesan sprinkled on top (never a bad thing in my book). But, the pasta was bowtie which is a meh. And, the pasta was overcooked. Double meh. Overall it was 3/5 for the pasta dish. House salad. I can't, in good conscience, do too much talking about your standard house salad other than to say that it had some nice ingredients and was quite fresh. The vinagrette was good. 4/5 as house salads go. Pimento cheese app Spinach cheese app Tomato basil House salad All bueno.

good food but not vegetarian friendly. had to clear that up since someone else posted that it 'had something for everyone' well that is true, as long as you eat meat or fish.

Great experience! The decor and environment were quite nice, and the food was moderately priced. Our server Tevin was on top of it, the food was great, and came quickly. I had the BBQ pulled pork platter from their house specialties section, and it was delicious. Atop a buttered alice of Texas toast, it was the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Upon other Yelpers' recommendations, I tried the thickly-sliced potato chips- they were unique and tasty. If you're ever in the area, definitely check this place out!

Giving this place 4 stars mostly for the wonderful customer service! Very welcoming and helpful service! The food is good but nothing to write home about. I had the asian chicken salad. It was piled a little too high with wontons but still had good flavor. My family enjoyed their chicken salad sandwich and the special pork medallions. Food-solid 3 stars and service seriously brings this place up a star.

I've been in Oak Ridge for 3 days and I've been here 4 times. The atmosphere is casual, but classy and they serve great food. I've had the salmon several times!

The waitress did not know her product. When asked about ingredients, she did not know. She was also unaware that the restaurant was out of several items. My bbq was very dry. Stranged thing ever, she carded one of our group, who is a senior citizen. She examined his ID very carefully. Stated that they do not serve alcohol to anyone with an expired ID or a foreign ID. Does this mean if a person no longer drives so has let their license expire that they will not be served alcohol? How about foreign visitors or workers. Is it illegal to serve alcohol to them? Absolutely ridiculous.

Great casual place to dine. The atmosphere was perfect, the server knew the menu and was attentive. They have gluten free options that were different and not "get a burger with a lettuce wrap" type options. I had the filet bites with smashed potatoes and the sauce with the mushrooms was so good, I thought I was eating at a fancy restaurant. Would go back here again in a heartbeat.

This place is the best place to go on a upscale lunch or fancy dinner in Oak Ridge. The two dishes I got are the ape it curated catfish and the Raging Cajun chicken sandwich. And both have been outstanding. Sometimes it takes a while to get your food so make sure you have a little extra time on your lunch break.

Chicken tenders are a solid 5-star, but chicken tenders aren't why you go to a restaurant, usually... The sandwiches are pretty solid, but nothing abnormally great. The real entrees are all pretty underwhelming to be honest. It's kinda sad that the appetizers and chicken are so great while everything else is "meh." It's a great place for appetizers for sure, but it's a pretty run-of-the-mill casual eatery otherwise.

We have never been disappointed by the service at Aubrey's. The food is ok. It would be nice to have more healthy choices beyond the salads. The lemon caper sauce is just tartar sauce with capers, FYI. I highly recommend the burger with pimento cheese. I believe it's the Thunder Road burger. Yum! All the salads are delicious too. Friday nights try the prime rib. It's always great. The margaritas are sticky sweet. Ok if you like that. The beer selection and prices are excellent.

In town for training. This was down the street from the hotel. To start, great for the ego. I ordered a beer and they carded me. That hasn't happened in a long time. To start I ordered a cup of chili. It was really good. Not to spicy, but very good. Next up was the grilled salmon taco. It was very good. The tortilla was perfect. The flavor was good and the salmon was cooked great. Odd to have the salsa on the outside of the tortilla though. Overall I would totally recommend it.

They have the same great atmosphere and service you expect to find when you visit an Aubrey's. The thick cut potato chips were the best we've ever had, and then there was our entree... I ordered the patty melt. It was served with the top slice of bread off to the side and a COLD piece of Swiss cheese laying on top. When the person who delivered it asked if everything was ok and I pointed it out she took it back and in just a couple minutes brought it back and the cheese was melted slightly. The entire thing was lukewarm but by this time I just wanted to eat and go home. Very disappointing overall with the one bright spot- the potato chips.

It's been a while since I had an update for Aubrey's, so why not. This time around I got to try out their lunch hour as one of my coworkers was planning to leave the job. I remember the last time I got a meal here consisted of a mushroom burger, which wasn't bad in my opinion. (Check the review) This time around though I decided to go with their Basil Tomato Pasta, and well I wasn't neither amazed by it nor disappointed. I was not disappointed in the fact that the food/dish itself was edible. The amazement factor wasn't there that made me want to come back and eat more at Aubreys or try their different dishes. Now, the dish itself, the tomatoes seemed to have too much sodium as if it came straight out of a can. (This wouldn't surprise me as their whole decoration are based on canned goods) And well, the fresh basil to me didn't really scream out "Fresh." It was just a bit of sprinkled basil (maybe dried too?) on top of the pasta. Now, the service was of course amazing as always, which accounts for my 3 stars. I think that's the one thing that I don't mind about going back to Aubrey's because I always get treated well. Sometimes it feels as if that the service is what keeps Aubrey's as a choice for me. Until my next dish/experience here, that's about it!

Nice atmosphere here. The best surprise is how they've enclosed the bar area with glass so diners don't have to inhale smoke from the bar. So as for the food... The tomato soup, salad, macaroni and cheese, and broccoli was awesome. Everyone enjoyed their food but me I ordered the Boston Scrod (cod), with wild rice. My fish totally lacked any seasoning, I ended up sending it back. The rice was under seasoned as well. My husband had the fried chicken breast, he thought it was okay but I thought it could be better. In my opinion, the entrees overall just needs more seasoning. Check it out though, you may have better luck. The people in the community seem to love this place.

Great place that was perfectly located near the hotel I was staying. Folks there seemed like they were regulars and servers were all friendly. The meatloaf was delicious, bur I would go back just for the friendly atmosphere. It was nice to he in a place which makes you feel comfortable when you are away from home.

Aubrey's is a safe bet for a variety of tastes. The menu has choices to satisfy pretty much everyone (kids, vegetarians, light appetites, people who always order steak, people seeking something unique, etc.), the food is well-prepared with fresh ingredients, service is generally good, the beer list is the best in Oak Ridge, and there's plenty of seating, including a pleasant outdoor patio.
